Refund and Returns Policy

Eligibility for Returns

Our refund and return policy spans 3 to 7 days from the date of purchase. If this timeframe has elapsed, we regret that we cannot process a refund or exchange.

To qualify for a return:

  1. The item must be unused, in its original condition, and with all packaging intact.
  2. A receipt or proof of purchase is required.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers, newspapers, magazines).
  • Intimate or sanitary items.
  • Hazardous materials or flammable liquids/gases.
  • Gift cards.
  • Downloadable software.
  • Certain health and personal care products.

Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may apply to:

  • Books with obvious signs of use.
  • Opened CDs, DVDs, software, or similar items.
  • Items not in their original condition or missing parts not due to our error.
  • Items returned beyond 30 days of delivery.

Refund Process

Refunds are processed to the original payment method for prepaid orders. For cash-on-delivery (COD) orders, refunds are issued via NEFT under the customer’s registered name.

If you haven’t received your refund yet, please:

  1. Recheck your bank account.
  2. Contact your credit card company and bank, as processing times may vary.
  3. If the issue persists, reach out to us at bassarindia.customercare@gmail.com.

Exchanges

Exchanges are only available for defective or damaged items. To initiate an exchange, email bassarindia.customercare@gmail.com and send the item to our Billing Address (provided upon request).

Gifts

For items marked as gifts, a gift credit will be issued upon return. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift, the refund will be sent to the original purchaser.

Shipping Returns

To return an item, send it to bassarindia.customercare@gmail.com.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, which are non-refundable.
  • Consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing insurance for high-value items.

Sale Items

Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds. Sale items are non-refundable.
